We had fun welcoming in the New Year with our party hats and horns! We talked about "top ten lists," then made some of our own. After voting, the #1 movie was "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs," and the #1 place to have a birthday party was "Chuck E. Cheese." Each student also made a list of the "Top Ten Best Things About Myself!" We read a poem called "That After-Holiday Feeling," then wrote a journal response telling how we felt coming back after the long break. We were a little tired at the beginning of the week, but it was so nice to see each other after being off for two weeks!!
